Morning all Smile

http://www.express.co.uk...way-to-battle-the-agony

I saw this article in the Daily Express this morning, a little bemused to be honest. However I would say if I was going through a flare ( and of course even able to get into a bath RollEyes ) I think I would certainly give it a go just to see you if it did give me some level of relief. If and when my hands/arms get really inflamed in future would add it to my basin of hot water when giving them a good soak, always found this helped me greatly especially at night.

BigGrin LOL Hello everyone

I read this in the paper, sounds lovely, a nice hot soak in bath salts.
Sadly I haven't been able to get into a bath for a few years.

My grandad used to swear by a good soak with bath salts after attending all day to his fruit and veggies in his garden.

Good idea Dorothy to have some in a bowl with warm water for feet, weather a lot cooler today.

Heard of soaking in epsom salts. Margaret Hills suggested doing it 3 times a week, but never table salt!!
Never tried it though. Just seems too weird, used salt for bathing infections etc. Feet soakers let us know if it works.
We'd be so sweet smelling if we tried all these things!!!!!

I have tried epsom salts- there's a product calle 'eco bath' which is a blend of epsom salts and essential oils. I don't think it was any more effective than the usual warm bath and it was very expensive. I wouldn't want to try a strong solution of ordinary salt- goodness knows what it might do to a certain part of my anatomy- we're often warned about the adverse effects of using highly perfumed bath products!
